Details of artists:

Huw Jones – paints with a formulaic abstract motif, and uses video to capture his surrounding through the cropping lense. Presently, he is looking at merging the two practices.

Lorna Smith – her practice focuses on exploring herself and her relationships with others, and her experiences of being a single mother. She does this through photography and film.

Shahida Sakaria  - her interests in body language and anonymity, linked with the ordinary man, has led her to make figurative paintings, working from photographs taken in everyday locations in her own area.

Alistair Crees – uses sound and video to explore his thoughts and reactions to the troubled world in which he finds himself.

Christine White – currently her work is centred around youth culture, language and text.   “There is power inherent in a simple turn of phrase, or even a single resolute word.”

Andrea Swindells – her recent work concerns the constant expression of war in news reports, films and television, and the effects on the minds of the masses in our Western Society.

Jenny Loudon – is currently exploring the relationship between sport,  photographic image and narrative through painting and drawing.

Tracey Jones – presents a fusion between drawing and technology, exploring everyday journeys and memory.

Sue Riley – works with construction materials and found objects to explore consumerism in today’s society.
